Romeo's Scholarship Story
Meet Romeo, he is a third-year kinesiology student. He embodies resilience, determination, and the life-changing potential of education. Growing up in a single-parent household, Romeo took on the responsibility of caring for his three younger siblings while pursuing his dream of higher education. He became the first in his family to attend University.
Balancing the demands of his studies with a part-time job at a local pizzeria, where he works tirelessly for 25 to 30 hours a week. With support from the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), Romeo has been able to help offset some of the expenses of his education. Still, the costs of tuition, groceries, cellphone bills, and transportation weighed heavily on his shoulders. In his second semester, he received a scholarship.

I am deeply grateful to the donors who created this award and for their belief in my potential.
